I've been out of touch

Wow! I've gotten a lot of traffic (to me anyway haha!) even though I haven't posted in a while!
I definitely need to get back to work on here! 
The main reason for dropping this new project was my hubby and I found out we're pregnant back in December! We're so excited! With morning sickness and the holidays I just couldn't keep track of everything I was trying to accomplish. I actually didn't even vacuum the house for like three months straight because I had no motivation or energy to do ANYTHING. I'm bad. I also started taking college classes in January and that's been my focus since. 
But I'm definitely going to work out something where maybe I'll at least post once a week. I think I was trying to do too much at once before and I got overwhelmed. 

I will definitely work something out though and get back on track. I have a lot I can do being a student/wife/first time mom, right?

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sliders

So the hubby called out from playing Mass Effect with the guys, "Hey hun, are you hungry?" which is actually code for "I'm hungry please make food."

I'm at a loss at what to make, all the meat is frozen except bacon or hot dogs, neither of which sounded particularly appetizing on their own right this second and I'm not very good with lunch in the first place.

So I grabbed a few things out of the kitchen and came up with these.

Safer Ant Killer Alternative

Happy November! While we are definitely enjoying the cooler weather we're getting here in Florida, some creepy crawlers have decided to move in where it's warmer - our kitchen! I tried this on a whim, because I really didn't want to spray bug killer in our kitchen, right near the sink and Mom-in-Law's morning coffee set up.

It's a real challenge fitting two people who have 20-plus years worth of stuff lying around into a single bedroom, but between throwing out, donating, his family's storage unit, and getting really creative with the way we set up, we've managed to do so. For the most part. We still have some clutter we're working on.
